Hélène Olive
French artist based in Dubai, graduate of the School of Fine Arts of Toulouse in spatial design and scenography. Her polymorphic practice spans ceramics, sound installation and scenography, rooted in Relational Art. Under the label ChoSE, she creates “sentimental ceramics” born from dialogue and shared experience.

Rooted in the lineage of Relational Art, Hélène Olive’s “sentimental ceramics” gather memories and evoke what resists language. The totems carry photographic traces of shells collected by the artist at sea: relics of fleeting moments, each holding the memory of its place and time.
