Nasim Javid is a multidisciplinary designer specialising in contemporary jewellery, drawing inspiration from Persian art, Middle Eastern culture, and the organic forms of nature. Working intuitively with wax and metal, she often bypasses traditional sketches, allowing emotion, memory, and lived experience to shape each creation. Her one-of-a-kind pieces combine rich textures, flowing forms, and modern aesthetics, embracing imperfection as a symbol of individuality and authenticity. Through a sculptural approach to jewellery, Javid creates timeless works that blur the boundaries between art and adornment, inviting viewers to connect with themes of identity, craftsmanship, and personal expression.
I Sculpt Silence
I Sculpt Silence is a collection of wearable artworks that explores the relationship between mindfulness, memory, and material. Inspired by the philosophy of Sukoon, a state of inner tranquillity, the series transforms meditation into sculptural form through flowing metal elements, ceramic bases, reclaimed glass, and natural stones. Drawing from Persian heritage and the beauty of nature, each piece reflects cherished memories of gardens, forests, flowers, and water. The collection celebrates silence as a source of creativity and self-discovery, where contemporary jewellery becomes both a personal meditation and a poetic expression of cultural identity, craftsmanship, and emotional connection.
