Meet Jorge Pinto

Director and Managing Director

Jorge is a cultural strategist, advisor, researcher and teacher, and co-founder of Double J Collective gallery.

With more than two decades of international experience across arts, culture, heritage, museums, creative industries, and culture-led development, he has advised governments, major cultural institutions, international organisations, and leading consulting firms across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America.

Based in Dubai, Jorge has held senior leadership and advisory roles in some of the region’s most ambitious cultural and destination-development initiatives, including projects in the UAE and Saudi Arabia. His work spans cultural policy, institutional strategy, museum and heritage development, creative economy programmes, public–private partnerships, and the design of sustainable cultural ecosystems.

At Double J Collective, he brings a strategic and international perspective to the gallery’s development, supporting its positioning, partnerships, artist relationships, and long-term growth within Dubai’s evolving cultural landscape.
