Kamal AlZubi
Kamal AlZubi, born into a family of potters, discovered his passion for clay early on. Graduating from the College of Arts and Design at the University of Jordan, he founded pottery studios and exhibited his work internationally. Now, he shares his expertise as the head of the pottery and sculpture department at Al Jalila Cultural Centre for Children in Dubai.
Biography
Kamal Alzubi is a Jordanian ceramic artist and educator whose practice is grounded in a lifelong connection to pottery. Raised within a family of potters and formally trained in ceramics and sculpture, he combines technical expertise, teaching and artistic production while contributing to the development of ceramic education in the region.
