Kamal AlZubi
Jordanian ceramic artist and curator based between Amman and Dubai, with a practice spanning more than two decades. Head of the Ceramics and Sculpture Department at Al Jalila Cultural Centre since 2014 and Creative Director of House of Clay, he curated Ceramic House at SIKKA Art Fair and the first edition of Monochroma. He has exhibited in Rome, Riyadh, Amman and Dubai.

A circular wall composition of hand-built stoneware fragments, whose interlocking forms and carved edges read like a script without letters. The work continues the artist’s meditation on balance as a lived and sculpted state, where fire, hand and time leave their echoes in the clay.
