Emirati ceramic artist and founder of WM Ceramics, with a background in interior design. Inspired by Emirati heritage, landscapes and architecture, her hand-built ceramics bridge past and present through clean lines and subtle detailing, existing between function and sculpture.
Waves of Memory
A wall installation of ceramic plates, gently carved with flowing wave-like lines and hand-drawn with wooden dhows, the traditional ships once built and widely used in the UAE. Inspired by the country’s maritime history and by the artist’s father, a jalaf (traditional shipbuilder), the work is both a tribute to heritage and a reflection on craftsmanship and legacy.
