After earning her degree in Design, Taibe Palacios, a Designer, artist and maker, began her creative journey as an author and illustrator of children’s books.

Her passion for craftsmanship led her to jewellery and, since 2003, she has created unique handcrafted pieces in her studio. Her interest in contemporary art jewellery led her to experiment with organic materials collected from nature, mainly seaweed from her native Chile. Her work has received numerous awards and is exhibited internationally.
