The third edition of WEARABLE ART 3rd Skin brings Double J Collective to Lisbon, presented within ModaLisboa Priority at MUDE. Following its first presentation in Dubai, where the series marked the gallery's first exhibition, this edition brings together eleven artists, placing Double J Collective artists in dialogue with three creators invited by ModaLisboa: Lidija Kolovrat, Olga Noronha and Valentim Quaresma. The exhibition looks beyond the body and its clothing to a third skin, where jewellery, headpieces, masks and sculptural garments become a space for identity, memory and transformation. Across copper mesh and feathers, seaweed and gold, porcelain and fish skin, the works move between adornment, object and sculpture. WEARABLE ART 3rd Skin reflects the evolving possibilities of contemporary wearable art through diverse materials, gestures and perspectives.
