The second edition of MONOCHROMA, curated by Kamal Al Zubi, brings together ceramic artists within a shared monochromatic framework, creating a space for dialogue, experimentation, and exchange. Following its first presentation in Dubai, the second edition arrives in Abu Dhabi as a dedicated ceramic exhibition, placing young artistic voices alongside recognised practitioners. The exhibition explores the ceramic vessel as both object and proposition, moving between function, sculpture, abstraction, and organic form. Across the works, familiar structures are transformed, fragmented, or reimagined, allowing material, gesture, and negative space to take on new significance. MONOCHROMA 2 reflects the evolving possibilities of contemporary ceramic practice through diverse approaches and perspectives.
